Surveys
Surveys are an essential and legal requirement when buying a home, but it’s important not to get confused.  The survey conducted by your mortgage lender is for their purposes only and will not look at the structure of the property.

We would always recommend that you invest in a home survey carried out by a qualified surveyor.  Basic surveys are fine for new builds, but extended, more in-depth surveys are preferable for those making sizable investments or purchasing an older property.

These surveys will look at the structure and build of the property and highlight areas of concern.
